Public libraries offering free services
Our public libraries are offering free services, available with your library card. Kanopy offers free streaming movies that you can watch as many times as you like within three days of ordering. You receive 8 play credits per month and each video uses one play credit. At Hoopla you can borrow digital movies, music, audiobooks and more. You can also go here for more information and to obtain a library card if you don’t have one. |
Sausalito Parks & Recreation's Virtual Rec Room
Sausalito Parks & Recreation's Virtual Rec Room provides indoor activities that change daily and are designed to keep your body moving. They include fun daily photo challenges and fun activities to do with your pets. Classes including chair yoga, hula hooping and chess are available with a small fee. |
Stay Home and Read Book Club
The Stay Home and Read Book Club is a low-pressure online book club sponsored by the Sausalito Library. The club uses the discussion boards feature of the Good Reads website for dialogue between members. If you're sheltering in place and have time for a good book, why not read together? The book for April 2020 is The Girls by Emma Cline. Books are chosen based on e-book availability from the library's digital collections. If you prefer a print copy, you can support our local bookstore, Sausalito Books by the Bay, and order a copy for free delivery. For more information, please email Rebecca Burgan or click here to go to Good Reads. |
