All the rain should give us spectacular wildflowers.
Once again we will walk toward Chimney Rock on Point Reyes.
The 1.75-mile (2.8-km) round-trip Chimney Rock Trail leads along the ridge crest of a narrow peninsula,
offering spectacular views of Drakes Bay and the coastline, stretching to the southeast.
To get to the trailhead, take Sir Francis Drake Blvd. almost to the end;
turn left where you see a sign pointing the way to Chimney Rock parking area.
Here is a map to orient you.

Email Frank Valone to let him know if you plan to attend.
Frank will email a list of hikers in advance of the trip so folks can organize carpools.
You do not need to RSVP to join the hike; last minute hikers are always welcome.
Email Frank if you have any questions or suggestions.

Food Truck Fun
Sunday, May 7th
meet at noon
Let's celebrate spring by having a CCC lunch gathering
at the Marin Country Mart (formerly Larkspur Landing) food trucks.
The food trucks have a wide range of offerings, and there should be something for everyone.
There is a large, covered outdoor eating area for COVID-safe eating.
To get to the food trucks, take the second entrance to Marin Country Mart (the Bed Bath & Beyond end of the center).
Park close to the Hog Island Restaurant.
It is a short walk to the food trucks which are to the left of Hog Island, near Sir Francis Drake.
For questions, etc. email Frank Valone.
