Our walk to Abbots Lagoon in 2022
We will meet at the Abbotts Lagoon parking lot at 11:00 a.m. and walk about one mile to the bridge that goes over the lagoon.
For those with a lot of energy, it’s another 0.4 miles over sand dunes to the beach.

SMART Train Ride to Windsor

We will take the SMART train that leaves Larkspur at 9:52 and arrives in Windsor at 11:12.
Use the SMART station closest to your home and plan to board in the car closest to the front.
The Windsor station is about ¼ mile from the town green.
After exploring the area around the town green,
we will have lunch at either Kin Windsor or KC’s American Kitchen. Check out the menus.
After lunch, more exploring, and ice cream at Baskin Robins,we will return in mid-afternoon.
Trains leave Windsor at 2:47, 3:21 and 3:53.

A negative tide at 10:34 a.m. means better than average tidepooling.
We will meet at the Duxbury Reef parking area at 9:30 a.m. Don’t be late! Tides don’t wait for anyone.
We will leave the parking area at 9:30 and take the short walk to the reef for 60-90 min of tide pooling,
followed by an early lunch in either Bolinas or Stinson.
